For motorcycle enthusiasts, the Maggie Valley area is one of the very best for riding. Deals Gap, also known as the "Tail of the Dragon" for it's 318 curves in 11 miles, is a short scenic ride away, as are the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. In addition to the well known routes, we have thousands of miles of back road jewels that are unknown to the average motorist.

The winter brings us skiing, snowboarding and snow tubing. Cataloochee Ski Area in Maggie Valley opens in early November and closes in late March and boasts the longest ski season in the Southern Appalachian Mountains.
